The City of West Hollywood is set to celebrate the remarkable contributions and achievements of local women leaders in its upcoming 27th Annual West Hollywood Women In Leadership Awards and Reception. This prestigious event, a collaboration between the City of West Hollywood, its Women’s Advisory Board, and the West Hollywood Chamber of Commerce, aims to acknowledge and honor the vital roles these women play in shaping the community.

This year, the awards will spotlight four distinguished honorees, each recognized for their significant impact in their respective fields. Mylena Christina, a principal at Robust Real Estate, is celebrated for her leadership in the business sector. Queen Chela Demuir, known for her pioneering community work, will also be honored. Sofiya Fikhman, a dedicated librarian at the Russian Language Public Library, is recognized for her contributions to public service and literacy. Lindsey P. Horvath, Los Angeles County Supervisor for the Third District, will also be recognized for her outstanding public service.

The ceremony is scheduled to take place on Wednesday, March 27th, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Andaz West Hollywood, a venue known for its elegance and hospitality. It’s sickening how often the City gives out these fake awards, year after year, to each other. I can only wonder what Lindsey Horvath’s “outstanding public service” was. I hear that defunding the police campaign was a huge success and deserves lots of fake awards.
