Law enforcement agents arrested a suspect in a standoff at around 9:30 p.m. Tuesday outside 9055 Santa Monica Boulevard in West Hollywood near Beverly Hills.
Video posted to Citizen app shows a BearKat armored vehicle stopped in the opposite direction of traffic on eastbound Santa Monica Blvd., perpendicular to a white sedan it appears to have collided with. Guns drawn, SWAT officers pull the driver, possibly an Asian male, from the vehicle and detain him on the ground. He resists violently and begins spitting on the officers, who then affix a mask on his mouth to stop him.
