The 7th Annual Drag Queen World Series was a TIE between the Los Angeles Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence and the West Hollywood Cheerleaders. The fun, wacky, playful, rule-bending softball game was held at Fairfax High School. The event is hosted by the Life Group. LA In collaboration with the Fairfax High School Alumni Associations Centennial Celebration and the High School’s GSA Youth Club.

The Los Angeles Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence brought their best softball tactics to distract the West Hollywood Cheerleaders who were taking a lead in the game.  The Sisters did many funny antics during the game as holding a tea party between 3 & 4 base, doing a yoga class next to the pitcher’s mound, trying to bribe the umpire with fake $100 bills, and even stopping an inning by blessing the bases as the Cheerleaders were up to bat.

This is not your ordinary softball game, it’s the DRAG QUEEN WORLD SERIES, the rules change all the time during this game. For instance, the real game score was 6 to 14 with West Hollywood Cheerleaders in the lead.  The Los Angeles Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence petitioned for a tiebreaker. So, the two teams did a ribbon dance, and the umpire had the crowd vote. The dance-off was worth 8 points which tied the game, 14 to 14! Both teams were able to go home and enjoy dinner. Just one of the many wacky rules that brought laughter and spectator participation to the game!

Throughout the day, West Hollywood Mayor John M. Erickson umpired; Jai Rodriguez (Queer Eye) sang National Theme; Karl Schmid (KABC-TV) did the ceremonial Frist Pitch, music was spun Celebrity DJ, Eur-O-Steve. Our announcers this year were TV/Podcast personalities, Alexander Rodriguez and Norma Lee High. 3rd inning stretch featured a performance by RuPaul Drag Race’s contestant Eureka O’Hara.

Drag Queen World Series raised awareness of the fact that AIDS is not over and erases stigma. It was also an opportunity to raise financial support for The Life Group LA. The group’s main goal is to continue providing education and emotional support to persons infected and affected by HIV/AIDS.

Oh calm down, Chad. Too bad we can’t take a look at your mug and judge you on your appearance. Judging by your profile, you are most likely filled, botoxed and duck lipped like all the other transplants that thought they were too fabulous for their hometowns.

Didn’t one of the members of Sisters of perpetual self fund raising just get arrested for masturbating in public for over an hour. They are an embarrassment to the Gay community and Drag Queens shouldn’t be around children. Here’s a drag name for you….Ima Cesspool!
