The Abbey in West Hollywood celebrated its new ownership with a relaunch party attended by some of the biggest and most beloved names in entertainment.

New owner Tristan Schukraft flexed his PR muscles Thursday night, demonstrating his ability to attract an A-list crowd to the iconic gay bar he purchased this year from founder David Cooley.

Stars who graced the red carpet at the event included Cher, Ricky Martin, rapper Saweetie (“My Type”), actress Jean Smart (“Hacks”) and many favorites from “Ru-Paul’s Drag Race,” along with WeHo’s vice mayor, Chelsea Lee Byers.

Maybe the place will get cleaned. Grime and cobwebs everywhere. Great to have the fountain working again!

Typical weho event promotung alcoholism under the guise of “fun”. We never get to know how many got a d.u.i. after leavung weho, but were arrested in other cities.

Celebrities are one of the few that can afford the drink prices at the Abbey….or any where else in West Hollywood for that matter.

while I don’t really consider that “an A-list“ gathering, it really was fun to look at the pics of the interesting outfits that all those posers were wearing!

Tristan needs to cut the carbs and work on those arms. Or, do what Ricky Martin did, and wear a shirt appropriate for older gentlemen. Yikes.

The only big names there were Cher and Ricky Martin. The others were livin’ la vida loca in obscurity because I couldn’t name one other person in that bizarre-looking crowd. And I’m proud of that.
