On Tuesday, August 6, 2024, community members across West Hollywood will unite against crime as the City celebrates National Night Out. The evening will feature block parties, barbecues, live entertainment, and more, with free attendance for all. Limited street closures will take place from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. on August 6. Details about events, times, and locations are regularly updated on the City’s website at www.weho.org/nno.
This year marks the 41st Annual National Night Out (NNO), which started in 1984 to encourage crime prevention activities, law enforcement partnerships, and neighborhood camaraderie, sending a message that neighborhoods are united against crime. More than 35 million people nationwide participate in NNO events each year. West Hollywood has celebrated National Night Out since its incorporation.
Participants in National Night Out 2024 include members of the West Hollywood City Council, Neighborhood Watch groups, the West Hollywood Gateway, the City’s Public Safety Commission, the Russian-Speaking Advisory Board, and the Recreation Services Division. Events are organized in collaboration with the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department, the Los Angeles County Fire Department, and the City of West Hollywood.
Or you could just hire a few more police officers.
WeHo already has more than enough cops.
