West Hollywood City Council candidate has received an endorsement from Los Angeles County Sheriff Robert G. Luna.
“Community livability and public safety are the reasons I am running for West Hollywood City Council,” Nickle said. “I am honored and proud to be endorsed by Los Angeles County Sheriff Luna.”
Luna’s support follows an endorsement by Councilmember Lauren Meister.
“I’m endorsing George Nickle for West Hollywood City Council because, like me, he is a long-time resident who cares about public safety and ensuring that we create an environment where our residents can feel safe, and our small businesses can thrive,” Meister said.

Great news. Two highly respected endorsements. Excellent
Well earned. Congrats, George!
i’m voting for George!!
This is great to see. Sheriff Luna is a high-quality and top-notch public Safety official, and George is a real intelligent stand-up guy. George is easily the best-qualified candidate running for City Council.
It’s comforting to see two outstanding public servants recognize and endorse George’s common-sense candidacy based on the nuts and bolts of sound municipal governance. I am borrowing someone else’s words when I say that like Lauren Meister, George’s focus will be on being an outstanding steward of the public trust before all else.
Lets be full disclosure, you are Nickle’s campaign treasurer.
Wow, Alan couldn’t even be transparent with the brown nosing comments. Pretty pathetic actually.
Thanks for that bit of info Larry!
People in glass houses shouldn’t throw stones, Adam. Alan uses his full name, so I’m sure it could be looked up.
Pathetic that I didn’t include in my commentary information that is publicly available? I recommend a cold shower.
Nice double header: Lauren Meister and Sheriff Luna. Time to restore common sense and intellectual integrity to the City Council.
Excellent. He is a respectable leader.
