Quick update on construction projects around WeHo

Construction on the Holloway Interim Housing Program at the former Holloway Motel is well underway. Crews were seen working on scaffolds Friday. The facility is expected to open in December or January.

The NOW is getting closer to completion. The building at the top of La Cienega at the intersection of Sunset Boulevard will be home to some of the Strip’s most innovative digital billboards.

The former Standard hotel, a.k.a. the future Public hotel, showed light construction activity Friday. The building’s new owners this week scored a loan to finish the project.

The new parking lot at Crescent Heights and Santa Monica Boulevard appears to have a long way to go. Crews were still digging up earth — nothing paved just yet.

While requested long ago from WEHO planning & never received, would love to see an actual rendering of we can expect to inherit with the Holloway Motel Re-Hab project – All will be affected in one form or another with several millions of dollars expended, NOT an unreasonable or unfair request in addition to required admin & security detail placements.

You missed the three sites on 8700 block Dorrington. Two have been in “progress” for five years. What’s up there?
