1 Hotel West Hollywood has opened a communal eatery within the hotel’s garden terraces, serving as a central gathering space. The hotel’s Juniper Lounge has expanded into Juniper Lounge and Garden, introducing an indoor-outdoor space to the hotel.
Located below street level, Juniper Lounge and Garden offers a quiet retreat from the busy Sunset Boulevard. Guests can start the day with coffee or unwind in the evening, enjoying cocktails.
1 Hotel West Hollywood has created a new dining experience at Juniper Lounge and Garden, with a menu that features market-driven dishes by culinary director Ginger Pierce. The venue will also host events, including Negroni Week and the Fall Equinox Dinner on September 19.
Juniper Lounge and Garden serves a menu that includes ingredients from the hotel’s on-site 100% organic garden. Dishes include stuffed California dates with locally smoked bacon and goat cheese, and a kimchi salad with grilled corn, haricot vert, cherry tomatoes, celery hearts, baby gems, and Gomasio. Other options include a bone marrow burger on a sesame-potato roll with sumac pickled onion, marinated tomato, harissa sauce, and sweet potato wedges, and smoked lamb ribs with Medjool date BBQ sauce.
The drinks menu offers a selection of cocktails, zero-proof beverages, spirits, local craft beers, and biodynamic wines from California and the Mediterranean. Cocktails include the LA Woman, made with loft & bear rum, passionfruit, mango, hibiscus, yuzu, and sparkling Sicilian lemonade, and the Sustainable Sandia, featuring Cincoro Blanco tequila, ancho reyes, watermelon agua fresca, lime, and tajin. A non-alcoholic option is the Smokey Pina Margarita, made with Optimist Smokey, a non-alcoholic tequila, serrano, pineapple, and lime.
