West Hollywood and parts of Hollywood and East Hollywood in Los Angeles will host the “CicLAvia—Meet the Hollywoods Presented by Metro.” This event will see significant stretches of city streets closed to vehicle traffic, transforming them into pedestrian zones from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday The car-free initiative aims to promote vibrant public spaces, active transportation, and community health.

The route will extend from the inclusive pride crosswalks of West Hollywood to the Hollywood Walk of Fame, welcoming thousands to ride, walk, bike, or stroll. Santa Monica Boulevard will be closed to vehicles from N. San Vicente Boulevard to N. La Brea Avenue from early morning until evening, with designated vehicle-crossing points at major intersections.

Activity hubs in West Hollywood, including one at N. San Vicente Boulevard and another at Plummer Park, will offer amenities such as first aid, merchandise sales, portable restrooms, and bicycle repair stations. Notably, the Plummer Park hub will feature a Drag Story Hour hosted by City of West Hollywood Drag Laureate, Pickle.

The day’s festivities will conclude with a free outdoor concert at Plummer Park, part of West Hollywood’s Summer Sounds series. The concert, starting at 4 p.m., is open to the public without the need for RSVPs, and attendees are encouraged to bring picnics and blankets.

With street closures and limited parking anticipated, event organizers recommend using public transportation, bicycles, or rideshare services for travel to and from the event.
