Artwalk returns to the West Hollywood Design District this Saturday from 3 to 8 p.m. as dozens of galleries, restaurants, shops and showrooms welcome the public for a celebratory evening of community and artistry.
Saturday’s event will feature 14 galleries, 11 shops, 15 restaurants and 5 showrooms across the district, which spans the area south of Santa Monica Boulevard to Beverly Boulevard between Doheny and La Cienega.
Opening receptions will be held for “Inner/Outer Space” by Helen Lundeberg at Louis Stern Fine Arts and Vlad Pocol’s solo show at Loisir gallery. At 5 p.m., Leica Gallery will host a book signing by photographer Jean Pierre Laffont, and a live painting exhibition will be held at Lualdi showroom throughout the afternoon.
Ganni and John Varvatos will both be showcasing new fall collections.
Hamilton-Selway gallery will finish off the night with a closing party from 6 to 8 p.m.
Artwalk debuted last February as a project of the the West Hollywood Design District Business Improvement District (BID), which works to promote the district as a local and global destination for art, fashion, design, restaurants and specialty retail. The WHDD Board of Directors and in-house marketing team represent over 250 district businesses by creating events and initiatives to build community between members, consumers and the city.
