The City of West Hollywood will wrap up its Bi+ Visibility Week celebrations with an event from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. today at Plummer Park’s Vista Lawn featuring a free outdoor event. Attendees are encouraged to bring blankets and picnic items.

The event will feature music from DJ Michael Ian, a performance by Drag Queen Acacia Forgot, free lawn games, and Yoga and Zumba classes hosted by The Phoenix. Community partners, including AmBi, LA Bi+ Task Force, Stacked Deck Press, and The Translatin@ Coalition, will offer resources, while the LA County Public Health Department will provide free flu and Mpox vaccines.

West Hollywood has long been a prominent advocate for LGBTQ rights since its incorporation in 1984. Over 40 percent of the city’s residents identify as LGBTQ, and three of the five members of City Council are openly gay or lesbian. The city has supported measures for LGBTQ individuals and has been at the forefront of efforts to protect equality on state, national, and international levels.
