Vanderpump Rules star is opening a bar in WeHo

Brittany Cartwright is rebounding in West Hollywood.

During her podcast, the Vanderpump Rules star announced plans to open Britt’s, a bar located within the popular restaurant and nightclub Rocco’s. The project marks a new chapter for Cartwright, who previously partnered with her estranged husband, Jax Taylor, to launch Jax’s in Studio City.

The location of Britt’s is significant, sitting near Cartwright’s old stomping grounds at SUR and just a few doors from TomTom.

“It’s the best location ever, right next to Rocco’s,” Cartwright said on the podcast.

Unlike a standalone establishment, Britt’s will be part of Rocco’s, a venue co-owned by Cartwright’s friend Lance Bass. Construction on the new space is set to begin shortly and is expected to finish early next year.

The concept for Britt’s had been hinted at earlier this year when The Valley cast members Nia Sanchez, Kristen Doute, and Zack Wickham created branding and merchandise for a one-night rebranding of Jax’s following Cartwright’s split from Taylor.

Would someone explain what the opening oh this restaurant has to do with the lgbtq community or who got elected as president or what Andy Cohen has to do with this?
All i figure is that people care way too much what someone that happened to choose to be on a reality show is doing. In 12 months no one will no her name or care. She’s not a celebrity people! Wow alot of emotion for just another nobody.

Congratulations to Britt! I love seeing good things happen for people. It’s so sad seeing all these nasty, hateful comments in here. Why can’t people be positive and if you can’t then just keep scrolling? This is just the beginning, a sad commentary on the state of America now that tRumP is going to be in office again and has made sexisim, bigotry, homophobia, racism and just plain nastiness acceptable, we are all in for a ride so buckle up! People have always been this way but now that we have a convicted felon for POTUS with all these behaviors… Read more »

Why can’t people be positive and if you can’t then just keep scrolling?” Then you continue on “ This is just the beginning, a sad commentary on the state of America now that tRumP is going to be in office again and has made sexisim, bigotry, homophobia, racism and just plain nastiness acceptable, we are all in for a ride so buckle up! ” Buttercup, if you can’t spell Trump’s name without being a hypocrite, just “keep scrolling” lmfao!!!!

It’s literally the same company then because Jax’s is literally an extension of Rocco’s in Studio City so now Britt’s will be the exact same in West Hollywood. So funny! She acts like it’s gonna be completely different. I’m excited for her but neither of them have bars on their own or would. It’s connected to the bar Lance Bass owns. They even use the same kitchen and chefs Rocco’s has. It’s just attached.

She and anyone else on any over produced, “scripted”, unReality show are NOT stars in the traditional sense. It is somewhat like saying that an extra in a movie is a star. Give me a break! And while I’m at it, Andy Cohen is a disgrace to the GAY community for unleashing the idiotic RH never ending series on humanity. And not to forget Ryan Seacrest for his role in promoting those insiped K people. And we wonder why so many Americans have become so stupid. Look no further.

I like how positive you responded to someone who we all don’t personally know on their journey through life. It was truly refreshing to read something positive for a change. Many people get divorced, have painful shots at opening a business & loads of other negative situations in their lives. To come on social media and bash someone for really no reason is not necessary at all. Let’s try to be happy for all people from all walks of life. It’s amazing as the years pass how many negative and hate type comments come out. For me, I believe there… Read more »

Stupid is coming on here and ranting about people you know nothing about. Stupid is not having a life toward your investing in something like this. And nobody cares about your thoughts nobody cares how you feel nobody even knows you. Don’t call American stupid that’s like me calling all gays f*****. We don’t generalize you got something to say about somebody say about them but don’t bring everybody else into a conversation stupid

I’m with you Shirley! Keep your negative, sad comments to yourself, we don’t need or welcome them. it takes up way too much energy to be and deal with the negative thoughts and people. I don’t know Brittney but I certainly wish her the best. 😄

She KNEW Jax was a notorious CHEATER yet she married him?!? And she did not need the boob job he bought her or ANY other plastic surgery. She “changed” for HIM and Fame. That makes me sick.
She is/was Super sweet and caring… but im afraid he and Hollywood has changed her. 💔

Absolutely Marc, I only know her from when I started watching Vanderpump Rules but she seems like a nice person. Besides the fact who am I to judge. I give her kudos for trying to better her life with a business for her and her son instead of going about it in other ways she would not be so proud of.

It’s not actually the straight demographic that’s the issue here—it’s something I’ve noticed within the LGBTQ+ community itself. Despite being LGBTQ-owned and operated, my brands don’t see much support from the pride community. Instead, we’re primarily patronized by lady-bosses, single middle-aged women, and heterosexual families. The reality is that local gay culture seems to be more focused on supporting a handful of iconic spots near the bars, while straight money continues to flow in, partly because the LGBTQ+ crowd is being pushed further east. For whatever reason, the support from within the community just hasn’t been there in our LA… Read more »

WOW – That’s a discriminatory comment. Just because we are straight doesn’t mean this isn’t our city too. WEHO is no longer just a LGBTQ+ city! Wake up or MOVE!

Wow. What a ridiculous comment. I’m straight and a tax paying resident of the city and have been for years. WEHO is no longer just a LGBTQ+ city. IF YOU do not like it being a blended city any longer move under a rock.
