2025 WeHo Pride Season Starts Today

West Hollywood will kick off its 2025 Pride programming with the city’s annual Harvey Milk Day celebration on Thursday, May 22, from 6 to 8 p.m. at West Hollywood Park (647 N. San Vicente Boulevard). The event includes the third annual José Sarria Drag Pageant, honoring the trailblazing drag performer and political candidate who helped pave the way for Harvey Milk’s historic 1977 election win. More details are available at wehopride.com/harveymilkday.

The celebration sets the stage for the WeHo Pride Arts Festival, which runs May 23–25 at the Los Angeles LGBT Center’s Village at Ed Gould Plaza (1125 N. McCadden Place). The festival features a wide range of programming — from theatre and cabaret to film screenings, dance performances, art workshops, and literary readings. Organized by the City’s Arts Division, this year’s festival puts special focus on the creative spirit of the individual and encourages attendees to take part not just as spectators, but as artists.

The festival follows a flexible “choose-your-own-adventure” format. For the first part of each day, visitors can explore multiple offerings across genres. Each day concludes with a single headline performance.

All programs are free to attend, though some events require an RSVP for priority seating. Full schedules and RSVP details are available at wehopride.com/artsfestival. You can also join the mailing list for updates.

The WeHo Pride Arts Festival is one of many programs run by the City’s Arts Division, which oversees public art, seasonal concerts, literary events, and cultural programming throughout the year.

West Hollywood’s Pride celebrations continue the following weekend with WeHo Pride Weekend, running May 30 through June 1. Festivities will center around West Hollywood Park and Santa Monica Boulevard, which will be closed to vehicles during the weekend. Highlights include:

  • Friday Night at OUTLOUD (free with ticket)

  • OUTLOUD Music Festival (ticketed, Saturday and Sunday)

  • The WeHo Pride Street Fair

  • Women’s Freedom Festival

  • Dyke March

  • WeHo Pride Parade

  • Plus additional community-led events throughout June
