Los Angeles County Supervisor Lindsey Horvath posted to Instagram on Friday, as she waited with LAFD Chief Anthony Marrone for the arrival of President Donald Trump. “We’re here to make sure Los Angeles is putting our best foot forward,” Horvath said, “communicating just how much we need our federal partners to help us in this time of crisis.”
After the President’s visit, Horvath released a statement on her social media accounts:
Today, President Trump saw the devastation caused by these unprecedented wildfires. He heard the heartbreak from families whose lives are forever changed. He met with the first responders whose heroism is nothing short of extraordinary.
Anyone who visits the sites of these natural disasters understand how essential federal partnership will be to our recovery. Now it’s essential our federal government partner with California and Los Angeles County to pass a relief package that delivers for those impacted by these catastrophic wildfires.

Oh, now she has something nice to say about him…cause she wants the money.
Yeah, good luck with that CALIFORNIA
It’s not LAFD Fire Chief Anthony Marrone. That job belongs to LAFF Chief Kristin Crowley. Anthony Marrone is the fire chief for LA County Fire Department. Two different departments.
I guess the standard for “stepping up to the plate” is finally, at age 43, acting like a responsible adult rather than a petulant child. Bravo for growing up, Lindsey. A few decades late, but welcome to adulthood and the real world.
I agree. My opinion of Horvath has improved this year. Was very disappointed in the past.
Situational behavior. Custom crafter to enhance her own self-worth for every occasion.
