Meet the Speakers

Ed Woodham

A multidisciplinary artist, curator, and educator, Ed Woodham is the visionary behind Art in Odd Places, which he founded in 2005 as a platform for experimental and thought-provoking public art. Over the past 45 years, Woodham has worked across a range of media, including street interventions, site-specific performances, and conceptual installations, using humor, irony, and social absurdism to challenge perceptions of urban spaces. His work has been featured in New York, across the U.S., and internationally. Woodham has been a teaching artist for organizations such as Creative Capital and New York University, mentoring emerging artists in developing public and socially engaged art projects.

Deborah Oliver

An artist, curator, and educator specializing in performance and interdisciplinary art, Deborah Oliver has spent decades exploring the intersection of visual art and live performance. Her curatorial practice emphasizes community collaboration, public engagement, and pushing the boundaries of conventional performance spaces.
