The City of West Hollywood is proud to support the Elton John AIDS Foundation, which has been making a global impact in the fight against HIV/AIDS for 33 years. We appreciate the community’s patience and cooperation during this temporary disruption in support of this important cause.

The design of the redo of the park was done explicitly the way it was to house this and other possible similar events i.e. removal of the ball park, the massive majority of the park being raw and un-shaded (without trees, constantly disrupted grass), etc.
Thank goodness for Elton’s foundation and the good works and money it has raised and distributed in efforts to end HIV/AIDS, but please send his Oscar party back to the Pacific Design Center. West Hollywood Park belongs to the public and unless the public is invited to the party too, shutting down the public park for two weeks for a private party is an affront to the citizens of West Hollywood. Enough is enough.
Can we stop renting out our public park to private events? There are plenty of other sites which could accommodate them
City Council gets free tickets to this event. They’ll never turn this event away.
Will Erickson be the “star” attraction? lol
True, but, Rent?? This one is free, which doesn’t & never will happen anywhere else
