In honor of Women’s Day, the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department honored Deputy Ramirez, a 17-year veteran who has served 2.5 years at the West Hollywood Station. Starting her career at Pitchess Detention Center North Facility after graduating from the Deputy Sheriff Academy, she later worked as an Operation Safe Jails Deputy at the South Facility, tackling gang activity in county jails.
