The play “8,” by Dustin Lance Black, is based on the Perry v. Schwarzenegger case regarding Proposition 8. “8” will be read before a likely U.S. Supreme Court decision in June. Admission is free, with donations to benefit the American Foundation for Equal Rights. West Hollywood Library Council Chambers, 625 N. San Vicente Blvd. south of Santa Monica.
