The Lavender Effect, a nonprofit organization, has collected oral histories from LGBT leaders and pioneers to be preserved for future historians and to document the LGBT rights movement from those who experienced it firsthand. At the Rainbow Key Awards ceremony, a selection of those oral histories will be presented. West Hollywood Council Chambers, 625 N. San Vicente Blvd. south of Santa Monica.
