The Chicago-based ensemble Wrack will perform alongside the Vinny Golia Saxophone Ensemble at the West Hollywood Library, 625 N. San Vicente Blvd. south of Santa Monica. Wrack is a chamber ensemble that has composed unique pieces that blend European classic music with the African-American improvisational tradition. The three members of the Vinny Golia Saxophone Ensemble each play a different instrument of the saxophone family. Tickets, $10 in advance, $12 at the door, and more information online.
