BARTLE]: The City Council will review and make a determination on adoption of the final draft of the Housing Element and all associated documents, including the Technical Background Report. Additionally, the City Council will review and make a determination on the certification of the Final Environmental Impact Report for the Housing Element, which includes the adoption of a Statement of Overriding Considerations and Mitigation Measures.

ZONE TEXT AMENDMENTS TO TITLE 19, ZONING ORDINANCE, AND TITLE 20, SUBDIVISION REGULATIONS, OF THE WEST HOLLYWOOD MUNICIPAL CODE, TO ALLOW CERTAIN PROPERTIES IN THE R1A AND R1C ZONE DISTRICTS TO SUBDIVIDE THEIR PROPERTIES AND CONSTRUCT UP TO TWO DWELLING UNITS, PLUS ACCESSORY DWELLING UNITS (AS ALREADY AUTHORIZED), IN ACCORDANCE WITH RECENTLY ADOPTED STATE LAW (SB9) AND FINDING THE ACTION STATUTORILY AND CATEGORICALLY EXEMPT FROM CEQA [J. KEHO, R. EASON, R. DIMOND]: The City Council will hold a public hearing to consider a Zone Text and Subdivision Amendment to amend the R1A and R1C zone district requirements to allow certain single family residentially zoned lots to be subdivided into two lots, and for two dwelling units to be built on each of those lots, in accordance with SB9, which resulted in recent changes to state law. The City Council will also consider an urgency ordinance with the same Code amendments, to become effective immediately, provided it is approved by a four-fifths vote of the City Council. The urgency ordinance is necessary for the immediate preservation of the public peace, health and safety, as described in staff report.

FOR EVENT PRODUCTION SERVICES AND FOR THE CO-SPONSORSHIP OF “OUTLOUD” [Y. QUARKER, C. SMITH, M. REATH, KERRY MCCORMACK]: The City Council will receive a planning update regarding WeHo Pride 2022 and will consider approval of an Agreement of Services with JJLA, Inc. (JJLA) related to WeHo Pride 2022. The City Council will also consider a co-sponsorship of JJLA’s “OUTLOUD” concert event in West Hollywood Park.

LEAGUE]: The City Council will consider directing staff to analyze the potential temporary or permanent relocation of the West Hollywood Sheriff’s Station to assist in facilitating joint development at the Metro Division 7 Bus Yard/County Sheriff’s Property at San Vicente Blvd and Santa Monica Blvd.

5.B. HOUSING CAPACITY VISIONING CONCEPTS AND DEVELOPMENT DELIVERY OPTIONS FOR THE CITY-OWNED PROPERTY AT SANTA MONICA AND CRESCENT HEIGHTS BOULEVARDS [J. ROCCO, R. ABRAMSON, J. LEONARD, B. LEAGUE]: The City Council will review the results of an internal visioning study prepared by Urban Design & Architecture Studio staff for the city-owned property at the southwest corner of Santa Monica Boulevard and Crescent Heights Boulevard. It will also consider options from the Property Development Division regarding project delivery methods and be asked to provide further direction on moving forward with a potential new development at this corner
5.C. SAN VICENTE BLVD STREETSCAPE IMPROVEMENT CONCEPT [R. ABRAMSON, C. SARKEES]: The City Council will review a streetscape improvement concept and provide direction regarding the desirability of developing a public gathering space on San Vicente Boulevard north of Melrose Avenue and south of Santa Monica Boulevard.
