Sadly, this is a typical week in West Hollywood. Residents are not even safe at home clearly visible behind closed windows. This the ‘no crime’ cited by the city council. My sister and her partner (a forty year resident) are making plans to move out of here, we’re talkin’ die-hard residents. The ridiculousness of the city council’s complete lack of civic responsibility is no longer humorous, it’s dangerous and negligent. We must dismantle his council and not vote in more of the same: NO to Byers, Oliver and Wright.
Crime will always be an issue, but having a council that ignores it and defunds law enforcement, doesn’t need to be an issue. Get out and vote accordingly. It’s up to the community now to get this fixed by getting competent sane thinking people who look out for their constituents on council. NO to Byers, Oliver and Wright.
The 8/29 incident on the 7600 Norton block is particularly alarming with visible homeowner/victim inside and the initial conversation. Be especially alert with delivery personnel as it is possible they factor into these incidents.
