WATCH: Governor Gavin Newsom endorses Bob Hertzberg for L.A. County Supervisor

Gov. Gavin Newsom is throwing his support behind Bob Hertzberg in his race for County Supervisor against outgoing WeHo Councilmember Lindsey Horvath.

“As governor, I work every day to take on California’s biggest challenges,” Newsom said. “Bob Hertzberg does the same.
Bob and I worked together to pass some of the nation’s strongest gun safety laws. He’s led on environmental protection, abortion rights and housing for the homeless. I can’t think of anyone more prepared to serve L.A. County than Bob Hertzberg.”

The endorsement follows the release of two recent polls showing Hertzberg ahead of Horvath.

David Binder Research conducted a recent survey with a sample of 800 likely voters in Los Angeles County’s 3rd Supervisorial District. Results showed Hertzberg leading the race over Horvath by 7% and increasing that lead to 25% after positive and negative messages on both candidates. A poll by the J. Wallis Opinion Research Survey found that 40.3% of WeHo voters intended to cast their ballots for Hertzberg, while only 13% planned to vote for Horvath.

Hey Horvath, how does that slap across the face feel? Although, let’s be real, she’s just the lesser of two evils.

Anyone that the cartoonishly woke, pandering, worthless POS Newsom endorses, you KNOW is not fit for office in ANY way! I mean how on earth can ANYONE with half a brain approve of Newsom’s pathetic track record?! He has nearly destroyed California!

Governor Newsome can’t think of anyone who is more prepared to be our next County Supervisor, and that’s Bob Hertzberg.

I voted yesterday by dropbox and was thrilled to re-elect Governor Newsome and very satisfied with his endorsement of Bob Hertzberg for County Supervisor, District 3.

When dropping my ballot I had endorsed Bob Hertzberg too. Yes, I voted for Bob Hertzberg to be our next County Supervisor for District 3 who has purview over West Hollywood within Los Angeles County.

I support Bob, because he is the best candidate – he stands for what is right for WeHo. LH has walked away from ownership for decisions she made in West Hollywood. A lot of the public safety issues and the inability to feel safe in WeHo are the result of LH.

He’s not the best candidate, he’s just the lesser of 2 evils. Nope. Government politicians get amazing retirement benefits.

He’s given us the biggest budget surplus this state has ever seen, he led us through the modern day plagues of Donald Trump and Covid-19 and kept California strong, and he shreds MAGA demagogues and their hatebag lemming followers. I hope to vote for Gavin Newsom for president one day – this nation needs a leader like the one we’ve been blessed with.

The Governor is astute, Horvath is a political liability on all accounts. Who would waste real political collateral on this multi-party two-faced has been. Goodbye.

The previous publisher of WEHOville reported many times that Horvath aggressively sought a position in Gavin Newsom’s administration when he was elected governor – being the political / social climber that she is. Newsom didn’t want anything to do with her then & still doesn’t want anything to do with her now. That says it all.

Horvath also did her best for a position with Mayor Garcetti’s administration when it looked as though he had a future and nearby coattails to grab. No such luck.

Horvath, you are too attractive to be a Democrat. You should have never left the GOP. As for Gov. French Laundry Nuisance endorsing, who cares!

This is a very effective TV commercial. Not surprised the Governor has endorsed Bob Hertzberg over Pinocchio Horvath.

Tell us again Pinocchio what percent of the homeless you removed from the streets of West Hollywood? Did you really say 80%?

California is just screwed. Woke go broke and the new taxes that the state wants to impose on us just confirms that our elected officials don’t care and will keep the renting population growing vs. owning. BS.

Yes, great news. More woke for CA & LA to deal with. Neither move the state/town of WEHO forward. Do you like paying the highest income taxes in the nation? Good on you mate.

The good news is Horvath is out of WeHo and she won’t inflict her flawed policies to a county level. It is to be seen how Hertzberg will do..hopefully he’s more moderate.
