The YMLA athletic apparel store at 8594 Santa Monica Blvd. in West Hollywood celebrated its grand opening with a ribbon-cutting ceremony on Friday afternoon.

YMLA will feature performance sports brands including Adidas, Speedo, Bike, Russell Athletic apparel and gym accessories.
YMLA, the brand, was founded by Shirley Fong and Larry Block in 1991. The company was twice selected in the INC 500 fastest growing companies in America before its sale to Castle Hill Apparel in 2003. Block retained the rights to the YMLA label when the company was resold through a merger.
The special guests of the day were Admond and Tiffany Fong who helped to cut the ribbon with Block. Tributes were paid to their late mother Shirley who passed before she could attend the opening.
YMLA is owned by WEHOville Publisher Larry Block.
Congratulations! May the store be a huge success for you, Larry!
C O N G R A T U L A T I O N S!!!
Larry, may your store continue to be a huge success and prosper.
Welcome back! Anyone knows what the monthly rates will be at John Reed Fitness Gym? I paid $90 a year at 24HR Fitness. Miss it!
I’m guessing they’ll be $120-160/month.
They have spent a lot of $$ building out
It would be amazing if they offer a discount to former 24HR Fitness members. That would be very well received by WEHO residents
I know it’s been a long road so I say many congratulations on getting here!
