West Hollywood will host a temporary transportation service its upcoming Pride celebration.

Combining the Cityline Commuter shuttle and The PickUp, Pride Ride will offer a safe and convenient means of transportation between the Hollywood/Highland Metro Station, several West Hollywood destinations, and the LA Metro Rail B Line (Red) Service.

During the weekend of Friday, June 2, 2023, to Sunday, June 4, 2023, Pride Ride will ensure seamless travel experiences for attendees of #WeHoPride. Commuters will enjoy hassle-free access to the Hollywood/Highland Station via vehicles that will make stops on Highland Avenue, just south of Hollywood Boulevard, on the west side of the street. From there, the route will continue along Santa Monica Boulevard into West Hollywood, connecting passengers to various locations.

Pride Ride will commence operations at different times each day, starting at 1 p.m. on Friday, June 3, 2023, and 11 a.m. on both Saturday, June 3, 2023, and Sunday, June 4, 2023. Service will be available until 3 a.m. on Friday and Saturday, with Sunday service concluding at 1:30 a.m. on Monday, June 5, 2023.

The detailed schedule for Pride Ride is as follows:

On Friday, June 2, 2023, from 1 p.m. to 3 a.m., Pride Ride will provide transportation for the opening night of WeHo Pride Weekend: Friday Night @ OUTLOUD. Ticket capacity for this event has already been reached, but more information about the Saturday and Sunday OUTLOUD at WeHo Pride Music Festival can be found at www.weareoutloud.com. The route will span Santa Monica Boulevard from N. La Brea Avenue to N. Robertson Boulevard. Cityline shuttles will operate between Hollywood/Highland Station and other destinations from 1 p.m. to 8 p.m., while The PickUp will maintain its regular schedule from 8 p.m. to 3 a.m.

On Saturday, June 3, 2023, from 11 a.m. to 3 a.m., Pride Ride will offer transportation for the opening day of the free WeHo Pride Street Fair and Community Stage, March, Women’s Freedom Festival, and the paid-ticket OUTLOUD @ WeHo Pride Music Festival. Cityline shuttles will provide service within West Hollywood and to-and-from the Hollywood/Highland Metro Station from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Additionally, The PickUp will operate from 7 p.m. to 3 a.m., covering Santa Monica Boulevard from N. La Brea Avenue to N. La Cienega Boulevard. Note that the route will be shorter due to the street closure on Santa Monica Boulevard between N. La Cienega Boulevard and N. Doheny Drive for the WeHo Pride Street Fair.

On Sunday, June 4, 2023, from 11 a.m. to 1:30 a.m., Pride Ride will facilitate transportation for the WeHo Pride Parade. The parade will kick off at 12 p.m. (noon) from the intersection of Santa Monica and N. Crescent Heights Boulevards, following a route along Santa Monica Boulevard and concluding at N. Robertson Boulevard. Due to parade-related street closures, the Cityline Commuter service will operate between the Hollywood/Highland Station and Santa Monica/Fairfax stops from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Once the streets have reopened, The PickUp, another component of the Pride Ride service, will resume its operations along Santa Monica Boulevard. Starting from 5 p.m., The PickUp will travel between N. La Brea Avenue and N. La Cienega Boulevard until 1:30 a.m., providing convenient transportation options for individuals attending the #WeHoPride festivities.

In addition to the Pride Ride service, Pride-goers can also explore alternative transportation options. Los Angeles County Metropolitan Transportation Authority (Metro) bus lines offer convenient connections to the City of West Hollywood. For a comprehensive guide to bus lines and service hours, individuals can visit www.metro.net.
