UPDATED: Shocking mugging at Le Petit Four in WeHo

Security camera footage obtained by Street People of Beverly Hills shows two suspects mugging a man this past weekend at Le Petit Four in West Hollywood, terrifying fellow diners and trashing the patio in the process. The footage shows the two suspects approaching the man and a female companion at the restaurant’s outdoor tables. The suspect lunge at the man and tackle him to the ground as the woman flees. A security guard makes a brief appearance before fleeing himself. Only one bystander tried to intervene. The restaurant’s owner refused to speak to  WEHOville about the incident.

I was recently in Pittsburgh for work and had dinner at a restaurant that had a patio facing a square full of people. I was surprised by the amount of police officers walking around and interacting with all the folks in the area. I felt very safe there and had a great time that evening enjoying the live music. We need more officers walking the streets and not sitting in cars.

I warned everyone that if they allowed and welcomed the “Supreme” store to Tower Records that this would bring in a terrible element to Sunset Plaza and here we are…..

How is this in anyway linked to Supreme?

You can search Wehoville and find instances of gun robberies going back to 2012 in weho. Were those caused by Supreme too?

Supreme had other small outposts on Fairfax and on Melrose. Chaos was their MO. Slicked up and marketed as a desirable brand they are still deeply rooted in all the crude aspects of the hood, dressed up with ostentatious jewelry and sports gear. Hip Hop blasting over speakers. Sad.

I am surprised there isn’t more of these open assaults at many of the city’s eatery patios. These patios are wide open for anyone to come in and cause problems. This is why I sit inside an establishment away from the sidewalk. You have the homeless and the intoxicated guys out there to begin with,so being away from any public right-of-way lessens the hazards. When walking on the sidewalk,I give plenty of leeway to these guys as well. Looking at the video,it looks like the assaulter probably knew the victim due to a dispute that wasn’t settled to someone’s satisfaction. Not mentioned if the… Read more »

This is disturbing, but the victim looks like he was the specific target.
He had something they wanted or did something they wanted to come after him for. They don’t seem to mess with anyone else.

Prop 47, Prop 57, Gascon, defund the police, no cash bail – the so called “progressives” and dsa democratic socialists have achieved their goal of dismantling the criminal justice system to give violent criminals free reign to terrorize us all with total impunity

Mayor Karen Bass has the authority to fired Gascon, but she doesn’t, and appoint someone who would enforce the laws according to the city charter. All this crime overflows from neighborhood to neighborhood. Also you can blame the stupid, clueless, voters who voted for Prop 47/57(who listens to their lies and narratives along with their minions in the press who push these lies), who voted these “leaders” into power, When they use the world “Progressive” aka as socialist, fascist, marxist, and authoritative policies. Don’t be fooled, and wake up people as citizens, & businesses flee the state! Also they use… Read more »

The mayor has the power to fire a county level elected position?

A black Georgia representative just left the Dem/socialist party and became a republican. She is for school choice and police. Her colleagues were threatening her to be for the teachers union and defunding the police. She said, I can think on my own and won’t be bullied into their ideology.

WRONG. Los Angeles CITY Mayor Karen Bass has absolutely ZERO statutory authority over the District Attorney. George Gascon—for better or worse—was elected by the voters of the COUNTY of Los Angeles.

You simply DON’T know what you’re talking about. You’re entitled to your own opinions…but not your own “facts.”

Karen Bass is a self serving COMMUNIST who praised Fidel Castro so much she went to Cuba.
She is nothing more than a female Gascon.

If restaurants can hire staff to park cars, they can hire staff to be security. Stop relying on the police and block by block for 100% protection and do something to protect yourself, your staff and your customers. Hire security for your establishment.

This is such a ridiculous position. Security is one of government’s primary functions. They can’t just shift responsibility to private citizens. Further, security guards are helpless to stop any of this ongoing mayhem. If an armed security guard intervenes to protect customers and discharges his weapon, that guard is likely headed to jail. If he doesn’t, then the armed robbers get to do what they want. If he’s physical with the suspects, he can and likely will be charged with battery. Lastly, do you know how expensive it is to hire an employee right now, especially in West Hollywood? The… Read more »

Thats why the NRA advocates for citizens the ability to be armed as stated in the Second Amendment.”The right to bare arms shall not be infringed upon.” Where fire arms are freely carried , the crime rate is significantly lower.

Like much of the artifice of current life, security guards and Block By Block Ambassadors are engineered and marketed to give the appearance of protection and or action to protect the public, merchandise or retail/restaurant establishment. We are living in dream consciousness which is reality is a virtual nightmare. It unfortunately is directed by the artifice of City Council who have no serious knowledge about running a 1.9 sq. mile city.

I was there, I’m in the upper right corner ducking into Sushiya next door. It was super scary and very violent. The owner, waiters, busboys and staff at Petit Four were all beyond courageous. They chased the muggers away themselves. The police were there moments later. They protected themselves and everyone who was at the restaurant. They were heroic.

Looks like you’ve triggered the bootlickers. But I happen to agree with you, places should provide their own security. I’d like the bootlickers to explain how they expect cops to be everywhere all the time. Cops don’t show up until AFTER a crime has been committed.
