You got to be alert and careful nowadays. You got various people able to get weapons from construction sites, landscaping activities, dumpsters, open car doors, etc.

The man with a small axe was a big concern that should have been followed up on.Too bad no deputies showed up.

They always tell us: see something, say something. In this case, deputies did not do something.Stuff like this reduces the confidence the public have in law enforcement.

There’s a person of color…..always across from the Starbucks at Beverly and Robertson. He lives in the bus stop and throws rocks at cars all day.

That side of the road is LA….but it’s the same everywhere in LA county.

While an unrelated incident, another individual of color, was violently flailing & throwing metal projectiles from street construction in the middle of Melrose & Huntley 6:00-6:45 2 wks. ago for 40-45 minutes continually. Our call in addition to 3 others, took 30 minutes for a response. Not sure what’s happening, however, this was 1-1/2 blks from the Sheriff’s Dept. Report what you see, be vigilant!

I called the Sheriff’s Office, Friday morning about a black man walking up La Brea near Santa Monica waving in the air what I called a small axe. He was in black pants, a red and black checkered shirt, and had a blue backpack. I followed him for 15 minutes, the Sheriffs never showed up and I had to get to work. I of course don’t know if this was the attacker, but where I saw this man was just a couple minute walk from the spot of the attack.
