Police protection whether it be LAPD or LASD was never designed to be a replacement for Personal Responsibility. Many of these incidents are avoidable,,,,,Rolex watches left on vehicle consoles, laptops on seats of vehicles and abrogation of responsible behavior such as inebriation or drug induced social states. Law enforcement is there to reinforce responsible behavior or one soon becomes their own victim. West Hollywood unfortunately is large on victimhood.

Crime? What crime?

Saying there’s crime in the neighborhood is racist. Didn’t you know that?

Sure I do. Do you? You seem to be wrong on every topic, so perhaps that’s because you don’t live here.

And yet our city council continues to insist there is no significant crime in West Hollywood. WE NEED MORE SHERIFFS’.

I’m curious to know which of the above crimes are you suggesting may not have occurred had we had more Deputy Sheriffs patrolling the City?

Thank you for posting this! Would love to see this every week.
Contrary to City Hall’s narrative, crime is real and we need to know what is going on in our city.

In a respectful and civilized society that is not “asking for it.”

You are generally correct, but since these thefts are commonplace and we read about them in (nearly) every crime report, prudence should prevail.

agreed! Keep nothing in your car that would encourage someone to smash and grab.
