Hulu is set to bring some of its most thrilling movies and shows to life with a Halloween-themed event called “Huluween: Now Screaming.” This complimentary event, scheduled from October 29th to 31st, will be held at the Pacific Design Center in West Hollywood. Here, Hulu plans to set up various themed areas based on popular horror movies such as “Annabelle,” “The Boogeyman,” and “The Exorcism of Emily Rose,” as well as TV shows like “Goosebumps” and “American Horror Story.”
Visitors will have the opportunity to explore these areas, each designed to mirror scenes and settings from the aforementioned films and series. These themed areas will cater to different scare intensities. For instance, the Scary Zone, meant for those who prefer milder thrills, will feature the haunted Biddle house from the “Goosebumps” series, complete with surprises, photo opportunities, special effects, and eerie sounds.
A recent event celebrating the release of Disney+ and Hulu’s “Goosebumps,” a series based on R.L. Stine’s novels, took place at Chelsea Factory on October 13, 2023, in New York City.
Additionally, the Very Scary Zone, inspired by the FX series “American Horror Story,” will allow attendees to wander past dark walls adorned with costumes and props from the show. They should be on the lookout for characters like the Rubber Man and Twisty the Killer Clown.
For the most daring visitors, the Very, Very Scary Zone awaits. Here, the ambiance is influenced by intense horror films such as “Annabelle,” “The Boogeyman,” and “The Exorcism of Emily Rose.” Attendees should be prepared for spine-tingling experiences, including encountering creepy dolls, dark spaces where the Boogeyman might lurk, and possibly being pursued by a menacing entity.
