Neighborhood leader Stefanie LaHart was glad to hear West Hollywood had ordered the demolition of the home at 1030 North Sierra Bonita, which went up in flames on Thanksgiving Day, threatening residents all around.
“I am happy that the city has heard our concerns and taken this matter seriously,” she told WEHOonline.com. “The demolition deadline of January 5th is greatly appreciated and I hope it is honored by the property owner.”
“In addition, I have asked for clarification from Danny Rivas, that the demolition includes removal of all debris and building material and that we are not simply left looking at a pile of rubble. I have not heard back from him yet.”
