Bouncers for the Comedy Store in West Hollywood appear to assault a man in a video published on YouTube this week.
In the video titled “Bouncers at the Comedy Store in West Hollywood beating the sh$t out of this guy“, a red-shirted bouncer holds a man down on the asphalt of Sunset Boulevard between the curb and a vehicle. Another red-shirted bouncer kicks the side of the man while he is restrained. The video ends with the group alarmed that they are being filmed.
WEHOonline has reached out to the video’s creator, YouTube user
Comedy Store and the Sheriff’s Department for more information.
I wonder if anybody commenting was actually there to see what really happened. Why doesnt anybody post the video of this coward attacking a female guard and hitting her in the face. All the security men around and he chose to hit a women.. this is why he was taken down..
Next up, the Comedy Store will tell us the patron/victim who was savagely attacked deserved it because the group of Comedy Store cowards claimed he said the magic word. You’d have to have a screw loose to support the Comedy Store after seeing that video and who they hire as bouncers. There is never a reason and no excuse for violence like that, especially when it’s a group attacking one person while they’re down, no less.
I didn’t even need to see the video because I could have guessed what the scenario is all about. If the comedy store hires thugs to protect/attack their customers, I hope they go under. I remember not too long ago when West Hollywood was a wonderful, safe, and beautiful city. Sad to see it fall apart because folks can’t act civil in public any more, not even at the workplace. It’s disgusting to see a bunch of cowards all attacking one person as they’re down on the sidewalk on Sunset Boulevard. Won’t ever step foot in the Comedy Store.
As a 28 year old married Millennial. The city seems fine. Safer than most parts of LA. It gets exhausting hearing all the stories of how the city “once used to be” when the rest of us just want to live in the present. Times change, society changes. That’s just life. Mickeys is for sale, The Abbey said it was sold but the real estate firm is still currently accepting higher offers, pot shops everywhere. Boystown is now referred to as the Rainbow District to be more inclusive. Nothing stays the same. And it’s a wonderful thing.
No it’s not. This was once a beautiful, quiet, affordable, safe and sane city/village. Those who experienced it then, cherish those memories of better times (compared to now). Eventually, you too, will utter similar words.
