John Erickson and Chelsea Byers were elected Monday night by their peers on City Council as West Hollywood’s next Mayor and Vice Mayor.
The two will be sworn in on Jan. 16.
Erickson will be known as the city’s final Mayor Pro Tempore as the Council renamed the position to “Vice Mayor” earlier in the evening.
“Thank God,” Erickson quipped.
Byers will be WeHo’s first Vice Mayor.
And GEORGE SOROS’s flunkies continue to control the DEMOCRAT Party while ravaging cities and states across the nation with Far Left Anarchy.
I heard their first item of business as mayor and faux mayor would be to make it easier for residents to obtain concealed handgun permits since they don’t want more cops on the street and don’t want criminals being sent to jail.

Except that’s not what it is. Calling for the destruction of an entire state as well as singling out one group of people/nation, and completely ignoring another, especially when the other don’t stand for the same principals as those with the loud mouths, is exactly antisemitism.

Funny, but this is actually the point. Her radical ideologies and distorted way of thinking, will have a direct impact on us all here, locally , as she influences policy and decision making. She’s dangerous and will make Sepi look like an angel.
Chelsea Byers has no qualifications whatsoever to be a leader in our community. Her anti-Israel activities make her unworthy of being mayor in this very Jewish city.

Well, maybe they’ll care more about West Hollywood than Sepi did. She always seem to be more worried about other parts of the world. Although I imagine that the only people in West Hollywood that they will try to please are the young and fun ones. We older adults and people with disabilities won’t stand much of a chance of getting much attention or help…as has already been proven!
I wonder how soon after his swearing in, John Erickson’s going to announce that he’s running for a higher position outside of West Hollywood?

As one commenter applauded Erickson for having started as an intern and progressed to Mayor, the real story is how this individual learned the art of manipulation from his mentors and succeeded with flying colors. The capstone of his career awaits….a permanent position on SNL to which he is eminently qualified as a self aggrandizing buffoon.

This show just keeps getting worse and worse. A Vice Mayor who has lived here for under 3 years. A Unite Here plant that has not supported one pro-resident program.
The Byers agenda seems focused on hostility to cops and cars. Constituent-residents seem an afterthought to her radical imported agenda.

Sharing my pre-meeting written public comment: How much staff time did it take to research and write this completely useless agenda item changing an honorary title from mayor pro tempore to vice mayor?
