Once again, we increase traffic and parking problems by taking a space that was previously a house inhabited by maybe two people into an apartment complex that now will probably have at least eight people, including the car as they drive that need to be parked probably on the street. This, at a time when city officials want to get rid of the parking on Fountain, which the overcrowded parking on Flores already spills into. I don’t think you can hold the property owner responsible for what developers want and get at least not in all cases. some people really have lived out their lives in their home and when it’s time to leave they will sell it to whoever gives them the most money. It’s not their fault what will happen to their former residence is it?
540 Flores is South of Melrose. If people are parking on Fountain and walking to 540 Flores, that’s a heck of a walk. Check the address before you get too outraged.

Pretty sure you have to include parking in a new building now. They won’t be parking on the street.
