A man was stabbed early Monday morning in the vicinity of a West Hollywood nightclub.

The incident was reported shortly after 1 a.m. Responding to the 8900 block of Santa Monica Boulevard — where Rocco’s, Bottega Louie and Roosterfish are located — deputies discovered a man with a stab wound on the left side of his rib cage, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department.

The victim was transported to a local hospital for treatment of his non-life-threatening injuries but was too intoxicated to give deputies any details about his assailant.

Were both the assailant and victim gay men?? I doubt it. We didn’t have these problems when Boys Town was, well, boyz!

you can thank the “city” for forgetting what it was supposed to be when first incorporated. Since it’s become nothing but pay to play politicians and a breeding ground (pun intended) for ridiculous redevelopment and stripping it of a lot of its former “gayness”, not to mention decimating neighborhoods & removing any character & charm it once had…It’s a damn shame but hey, money is the new normal…

Is this the result of defunding the police, lowering/diminishing repercussions for criminal behavior, and refusing to use proactive discretion of the public for fear it may make someone feel uncomfortable? That guy should have been safe to get tipsy/drunk at WeHo clubs (if he wasn’t driving, and it seems he wasn’t). I hope things get better soon all around.
