Keith H. Walker, a former broadcast journalist and public relations executive, died Sept. 2, 2024, in West Hollywood at the age of 93.
Walker was born on July 1, 1931, in Delavan, Illinois. He attended Delavan Community High School and went on to become the first in his family to attend college, graduating with a degree in journalism from Northwestern University. After college, he served as a commissioned officer in the U.S. Navy before pursuing a career in broadcast journalism in Tucson, Arizona.
Later, Walker relocated to Los Angeles, where he transitioned into scriptwriting and became a successful public relations executive, eventually working with Hollywood figures during the golden era of MGM Studios. He spent nearly 35 years overseeing the Pritzker Architecture Prize for the Hyatt Foundation, which honors significant contributions to architecture globally.
RIP, Keith, a friend and highly respected PR colleague for many decades. His home, shared with life partner artist Bill Jensen on Ashcroft was the “go to” place to celebrate the holidays with friends from the worlds of art, society, politics and entertainment. You lived a long life, Keith, yet will be sorely missed
I’m sorry, but what does this have to do with WeHo, other than the fact that he died here? I never heard of the guy.
Maybe you missed the fact that he lived here?
