The Safer West Hollywood Coalition is inviting the community to Fiesta Hall at Plummer Park for an evening of engagement, education, and entertainment on Friday, December 6, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. The event, located at 7377 Santa Monica Blvd., aims to strengthen ties within the community while providing valuable resources and education on substance use.
The evening will feature appearances by key figures, including Vice Mayor Chelsea Lee Byers and other elected officials from West Hollywood. Attendees will also enjoy performances by Pickle, the city’s Drag Laureate, along with artists from Drag Arts Lab. Venture Griswold, facilitator for the Safer West Hollywood Coalition, will help lead the event.
Members of the coalition, including representatives from organizations such as Being Alive, APLA Health’s Party Wise program, Just Don’t Die, and Behavioral Health Services, will be present to engage with attendees and share information about their services.
The coalition seeks to establish itself as a trusted resource for the community, connecting residents with support and services in an accessible and interactive way. Through this event, the Safer West Hollywood Coalition hopes to raise awareness about substance use and harm reduction while fostering a sense of unity.

Can you give this a rest?
The city has become a drag, facing more years of John Erickson and the refugee from Arizona as the next mayor. Boys Town is now DragVille.
