O Canada! Believe it or not, you’ll have to head to Vancouver or somewhere else north of the border to watch the latest gay reality TV series, this one set only 110 miles away in Palm Springs, where so many of our gay WeHo brothers go to retire. Homorazzi reports that “Golden Gays,” whose first episode aired on the Canadian Slice network Friday night (Mar. 22) “follows some of Palm Springs’ most outrageous and neurotic residents. From the Sex In The City style writer, to the single vegan lesbian looking for love, to a burly conservative contractor struggling to open his gay resort, there is always comedy and drama galore.” The 13-episode series “is the first television show in history to focus on the lives of lesbian and gay seniors. By definition, this is groundbreaking television,” says the blog OhNoTheyDidn’t.
