Frontiers Media has launched MarriageEqualityFrontiers.org, a website that aims to provide comprehensive coverage of the campaign for same-sex marriage rights.
The site, whose launch comes as the U.S. Supreme Court conducts hearings on two major cases involving same-sex marriage, includes a blog that will keep visitors up to date on the movement’s latest advances, a resource page providing visitors with resources to get involved and take action and a comprehensive archive of Frontiers’ coverage of DOMA and Proposition 8 through the years. MarriageEqualityFrontiers.org will also offer a live chat component, for which a tentative schedule of moderators has been set.
“MarriageEqualityFrontiers.org was created to educate and inform our readers throughout this historic time of the evolving civil rights movement for the LGBT community and the nation,” said David Stern, CEO and publisher of Frontiers, which also publishes Frontiers magazine, Southern California’s leading LGBT magazine, and operates the FrontiersLA.com website. The marriage equality website was made possible by a donation from the Evelyn and Walter Jr. Haas Foundation. It operates under Frontier’s Awareness and Education Foundation.
