Schindler House
There will be a panel discussion and signing of Martino Stierli’s book “Las Vegas in the Rearview Mirror: The City in Theory, Photography, and Film” at Schindler House, located at 825 North Kings Road and Warring. Stierli’s book explores the architecture of Las Vegas and is a follow up to “Learning from Las Vegas,” published in the 1970s. Stierli, a professor of the Swiss National Science Foundation and the University of Zurich, will be joined on the panel by Wim de Wit, head of the Department of Architecture and Contemporary Art at the Getty Research Institute, and Michael Osman, assistant professor in the Department of Architecture and Urban Design at UCLA. Admission to the event is free.
