WeHo Dodgeball action kicks off this week with separate leagues competing on Tuesday and Thursday nights at the West Hollywood Recreation Center.
The Tuesday night Buddy Draw league begins June 18, while the Thursday night league starts June 20. Games are held at 7, 8 and 9 p.m. The Tuesday night kickoff will be held at 8 p.m.
A summer tradition, the Tuesday night teams are chosen using a “buddy system.” Pairs of friends will randomly be assigned to the teams. The Thursday night teams are also randomly chosen. Both leagues feature 12 teams.
There are 5-8 positions left for boys and girls in the Tuesday night league, and just two spots for girls in the Thursday night league. Both leagues will have 264 players.
