Dorothy Chandler Pavilion
The American Ballet Theatre, considered one of the world’s greatest ballet companies, performs the classic Russian ballet “Le Corsaire” at the Dorothy Chandler Pavilion, 135 N Grand Ave. and Temple. The Los Angeles Times calls “Le Corsaire” “hardly the most profound of ballets, but it provides a rollicking good time and features six juicy leading roles.” The story centers on Conrad, a dashing pirate, and his love for a beautiful Harlem girl.
