This Saturday and Sunday will be “WehoGrnWknd.” No, we don’t need to buy a vowel—that’s how the city is touting the event—but if we were in the market for vowels or anything else, we’d check out the city’s website, where you can find a map of places participating in the citywide yard sale this weekend.

If you’re a WeHo resident and you’d like to hold your own yard sale this weekend, the city will add your sale to the map. To register, download a registration packet and return it to the second floor of West Hollywood City Hall, 8300 Santa Monica Blvd. between Fairfax and La Cienega. City Hall opens at 8 a.m. on weekdays; it closes at 6 p.m. every day except Friday, when it closes at 5 p.m.
In addition to the yard sale, WehoGrnWknd will include a free document shredding and e-waste collection event on Saturday in the City Hall parking lot. From 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., WeHo residents and businesses can bring documents to be shredded and electronics to be recycled.
I just want to complement WeHoVille and Henry Scott for getting the word out and offering local residents a real chance to learn about all the issues in our city. The WeHoVille news outlet is the best in public access information that we have. Thanks Hank. Your deserve a community leadership award.
Exactly what I had in mind. Looks great!!
