Planet Queer, where every month local queer artists stage a riotous variety of experimental performances, celebrated its first anniversary this past Monday (July 15) at Akbar in Silver Lake. If you’re wondering what you missed, founders Ian MacKinnon and Travis Wood agreed to share a video clip of some of Monday’s anniversary celebration. The performances take place starting at 8 p.m. the third Monday of every month at Akbar, 4356 Sunset Blvd. at Fountain.
