Someone out there has seen “Shawshank Redemption” one too many times.
Kitson boutique, at 115 Robertson Blvd. at Alden in the West Hollywood area, was robbed in the most unusual of ways Thursday, according to multiple reports.
The high-end department store was broken into by a burglar who tunneled through the wall from an adjacent public bathroom. The thief also only took items from Brian Lichtenberg’s Homiés line.
“It’s amazingly crazy considering everything we carry,” Kitson LA Store Director Mark Peters told ABC7.
Store security cameras captured the man, reportedly 6-foot-tall, as he used construction equipment to tunnel through the wall around 11:45 p.m. Wednesday, when the store was closed. Peters suspects the thief had a pretty good understanding of the store layout, and had been in before to “case the joint.”
Store employees found out when they came into work Thursday morning.

Good. I think that particular brand is a bit racist. “Homies, South Central” — made to look like Hermes and being sold at an expensive shop. Retarded.
Well, this is the Creative City!
