‘PrEP: The Choice of the Next Generation?’ Panel

Discussion over the FDA approval of Truvada as a pre-exposure prophylaxis (PrEP) medication. PrEP is a new HIV prevention method in which people who do not have HIV take a daily pill to reduce their risk of becoming infected. Panelists include Dr. David Hardy, board chairman at the AIDS Research Alliance; Dr. Terry Smith, associate director of education at AIDS Project Los Angeles and PrEP users.
