If you’ve ever thought about stripping to your undies and running around West Hollywood Park, next month you can do it — for a cause. The annual Cupid’s Undie Run is set for Feb. 15, with a start and finish at the Abbey, 692 Robertsond Blvd. south of Santa Monica. Now is the time to sign up.
The Undie Run is designed to raise money for The Children’s Tumor Foundation, a non-profit organization dedicated to finding treatment for neurofibromatosis, a disorder that causes tumors to grow on nerves throughout the body and can lead to blindness, bone abnormalities, cancer, deafness, disfigurement, learning disabilities and disabling pain.
The run attracted a large crowd to West Hollywood last year. This year, the actual run starts at 2 p.m. and the festivities at the Abbey continue until 4 p.m. Registration, which can be done online, is $35 through Jan. 14, $40 Jan. 15 through 31 and $50 Feb. 1 through Feb. 15.
