The West Hollywood City Council has made six appointments to the Eastside Community Plan Working Group. The 15-member group is charged with creating a plan to address concerns of residents and businesses on the city’s Eastside. It consists of area residents, community leaders, young professionals, families, seniors, Russian community members, business owners and a residential landlord. An applicant may represent more than one category.
The six named to the group are Cathy Blaivas, landlord and resident; Justine Block, a homeowner; Jared Meisler, a resident and owner of Bar Lubitsch; Andrew Rakos of Fountain Day School; Jeannie Olander, a homeowner, and Marina Berkman, who is with the West Hollywood Comprehensive Service Center of Jewish Family Services of LA.
