West Hollywood streets will be closed Sunday because of two Academy Award-related events, according to the West Hollywood Sheriff’s Station.
San Vicente Boulevard will be closed between Santa Monica Boulevard and Melrose Avenue between 2 p.m. Sunday and 4 a.m. Monday to accommodate the annual Academy Awards viewing party staged by the Elton John AIDS Foundation.
On Sunset Boulevard between Horn Avenue and La Cienega Boulevard, westbound traffic lanes will be used for both eastbound and westbound travel from 2 p.m. Sunday to 4 a.m. Monday to accommodate the annual Vanity Fair Oscar Party, which will be held in the parking lot behind the south side of Sunset Plaza.
