Sweetzer Avenue will be closed adjacent to City Hall from 8 a.m. until 6 p.m. for two weeks beginning March 24. The closure, according to City Manager Paul Arevalo, is necessary for trenching to be done as part of the city’s automated parking garage construction program. The city staged a formal groundbreaking ceremony this evening for the 200-space garage, which is being constructed behind City Hall.
I’m sure the residents of that block are thrilled.
