LA LGBT Center’s ‘Beach Classic’ at Zuma Beach

Enjoy some fun in the sun with beach volleyball, a 5k run or dodgeball at the LA LGBT Center’s Beach Classic fundraiser. Participants receive a commemorative tech shirt, lunch by Whole Foods and an after-party celebration in West Hollywood from 7-9 p.m. with hosted bar and one (1) free raffle ticket per participant, per sport. Registration begins at 9 a.m. for the 10 a.m. 5K run sponsored by Toyota Financial Services. The Zuma Beach run route can be seen online. Registration opens at 10 a.m. for the 11 a.m. beach volleyball game.  Volleyball teams will consist of six to eight players. At 12:30 p.m. there’s a lunch provided by Whole Foods.  Also at 12:30 p.m. registration opens for beach dodgeball, which begins at 1:30 p.m. Teams will be assigned by Jake Mason, founder of WeHo Dodgeball. Parking is $5 for participants at the  main Zuma parking lot entered through he lane that is marked with Beach Classic. More information is available online.
